We had to create a story using 2 items in 15 images. This challenge had us to use varity of different camera shots to get the perfect story.
Me and my partner wanted to do a story about a relationship of a pencil and notebook where they started off happy, then the pencil fell off the desk and how they got reunited once again. We wanted to create something unique and with a good ending.
We think we did an ideal job with choosing our camera angles and shots. We were able to capture the expressions of the notebook as we could draw faces on the paper to help show the viewer the expressions of the current moment. I believe we could've significantly improved on the cinematography as many shots looked very bland to the eye. I also think that if we were able to capture and create a face on the pencil it would make the story more alive.
